Hotchkiss School 24th Annual Swimathon

The Hotchkiss School 24th Annual Swimathon will be held Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018 at the Hixon Pool, The Hotchkiss School, Lakeville, CT 06039.
The event is a fundraiser for the Northwest CT Special Olympics Swimming Team.
The Swimathon is sponsored by The Hotchkiss School.
There is no entry fee for the day-long event, but participants are asked to solicit pledges for laps completed or to simply come, swim and make a donation. For those who cannot attend but would like to make a donation, you can send a check payable to Hotchkiss Swimathon and mail to :

Keith Moon is the Hotchkiss swim coach and organizer of the Swimathon as well as a Special Olympics CT board member.
Come any time from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. All swimming abilities are welcome, and the completion of one lap is considered enough for participation.
The Hixon Pool is located in the Mars Athletic Center where there is ample parking. There are locker and shower facilities available.
The Northwest CT Special Olympic swim team will be present Sunday morning.
The Swimathon raised $13,500 last year, beating the previous record by $5,000. The event has raised over $170,000 in its 23 year history. Also, a record 235 swimmers attended representing nine schools.
The funds cover all the pool rental and travel expenses for the Northwest Connecticut Special Olympics swim team and also support Special Olympics Connecticut in general.
