The Thankful 5K 5th Annual Run/Walk will be run virtually in 2020 on Thursday, November 26th on a 5K course of your choosing.

The event is organized by the Berkshire Running Center. Here is what they have to say on their Facebook page:

“Join us for the fifth annual Thankful 5K fundraiser for the community. Each year we have hosted this event raising over $10,000 for several local agencies. This year 100 % of the proceeds will be donated to our local Pittsfield Food Pantries.

We have a limited number of Thankful hats available to the first registered.

The 5K can be done anytime on Thanksgiving on the official course or run, walk, ride, paddle , hike or anything you want, anywhere you want. All the while knowing that you are helping to feed a local family at the most challenging times of the year, in the most challenging times we have experienced.

Berkshire Running Center will be collecting non-perishable food items from November 1st- 26th to be delivered to the local pantries here in Pittsfield.
