St. Mary’s School Run For Your Life Cross Country 5K Race

The St. Mary’s School Run For Your Life Cross Country 5K Race will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Lee Middle School, 300 Greylock St., Lee, MA 01238.

This event was formerly known as the St Mary’s School Edu5Ktion.

Now this is a 5K with a twist. Runners will wear a belt with three flags attached. As they run the course, they will encounter “monsters”  who will try to steal their flags. To win, runners must reach the finish line with at least one flag.

The Race will use the Lee Middle High School cross country course (mixed terrain).

The entry fee for the race is $25 per person by October 25th. There will be an additional  $2.00 processing fee. After Oct. 25 and on  race day, registration is $30.

8:30 – 9:30 am  Registration

10:00 am   5K begins

Awards and refreshments after the race.

Awards will go to the top male and female runner in seven age groups.

Proceeds from the event will support the children of  St. Mary’s School.

Fairview Hospital 15th Annual Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk

The Fairview Hospital 15th Annual Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019 at the Fairview Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation Building (formerly Condor Chevrolet), 10 Maple St., Great Barrington, MA.

Participants are encouraged to wear costumes.

The registration fee schedule is as follows:

$22 for 5K race which includes a $2 processing fee

1 Mile walker entry is $7 per person.

Family walkers entry fee maximum is $20.

Berkshire Healthcare Harvest Run 5K/Kid’s 1 Mile

The Berkshire Healthcare Harvest Run 5K/Kid’s 1 Mile will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019 at the Paterson Field House of  Berkshire Community College, 1350 West St., Pittsfield, MA  01201.

The event is organized by Berkshire Healthcare in partnership with Berkshire Community College.

To pre-register online, go to bershirerunningcenter.com. The entry fee for the 5K run is $27 ($2 processing fee added in for online registrations) for individuals who pre-register by Oct. 15th, $30 after Oct.15th including race day.

Three-person relay team entry is $25 per person, $30 after Oct. 16th.

Kid’s 1 mile run is free courtesy of TDBank North.

Youth shirts to first 50 1 mile registrants.

Long sleeved tech shirts to first 150 5K registrants.

Note : there is an additional  $2 online fee for 5k entrants.

Woofstock 2019 5K and Dog Walk

The Woofstock 2019 5K and Dog Walk will be held Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019 at The Common on First St., Pittsfield, MA  01201.

The event is organized by the Berkshire Humane.

The Dog Walk includes a 5K Run and  more formalized Canine Games. These events are part of a larger family-oriented Festival . The Dog Walk route is approximately one mile long.

Timing for the 5K is by Berkshire Running Center.

Besides the entry fee, participants are encouraged to fundraise. Register by visiting berkshirehumane.org.

The Dog Walk is a free event with a suggestion minimum donation of $25 for Adults and $20 for Children under 12.

Registered dogs receive a bandana (while supplies last).

You may run as an individual or on a team with family and friends.

5K runners can also register to fundraise by joining the Fundraising Platform and earn bigger prizes with higher donation totals. Join as an individual or form a team.

Register your dog for $10 and the pooch receives a bandanna.

Guido’s GR8T  Mile Race

Guido’s GR8T  Mile Race will be held Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Guido’s Fresh Marketplace, Route 7, Great Barrington, MA  01230.

The race is hosted by the Berkshire Running Center and Guido’s GR8T Road Race.

Registration fees:

$30 per person before July 22

$35 from July 23 through August 4

$40 on  race day.

Add $2 processing fee to online registrations.

Technical Race Shirt to the first 75 registrants, shirt sizes not guaranteed.

Refreshments from Guido’s Fresh marketplace after the race.

The race will start near Guido’s on Rt. 7 and finish near Guido’s. This 8 mile road race will go North on Rt. 7 turn left on Pope St., then left onto Maple Ave. (RT.23) and turn left onto West Sheffield road, following that and turning left onto Lime Kiln Road. A quick right and left turn across Rt. 7 in Sheffield will put you onto Kellogg St., a left onto Boardman St. which turns into East Sheffield Rd., left onto Brookside Rd., right onto S. Main St. (RT 7N) to the finish at Guido’s Fresh Marketplace.

MountainOne  Charity Chug Run 5K

MountainOne  Charity Chug Run 5K will be run Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the First Street Common, Pittsfield, MA 01201.

The Chug Run is part of the Berkshire Craft Beer Festival.

Through May 12th:  Race $30,  Festival  $30;  Combo  $50

May 13th through June 7th: Race $30 ; Festival $35 ; Combo $55

Dorothy Finnegan 18th Annual 5K Race for Education

The Dorothy Finnegan 18th Annual 5K Race for Education,  will be held Monday, May 27,  2019 at Lee Middle and High School, Greylock St., Lee, MA 01238.

Pre-register online or find mail in forms at berkshirerunningcenter.com.

Entry fee is $20 +$2 signup fee until May 25th, $25 on race day.

Mail in registration is $20 if postmarked by May 16th, $22 after.

Gabby Corbett Make a Friend Be a Friend 5K Run/Walk

The Gabby Corbett Make a Friend Be a Friend 5K Run/Walk will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Egremont Elementary School, 84 Egremont Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.

There is also a Kids Fun Run.

On-line registration closes April 26th at 6 pm.

The race will be timed by the Berkshire Running Center.

The pre-registration entry fee is $22, and on race day, $25. Kids Fun Run $5.

Proceeds from the race will benefit Make a Friend Be a Friend which started at the Egremont Elementary School in honor of  Gabby Corbett  who passed away in 2016 at 11 years old. Make a Friend Be a Friend addresses bullying and supports students with disabilities, both of which were passionate causes for Gabby.
