The Hand in Hand 5K Run/Walk will be held Sunday, April 7, 2019 on Walkway over the Hudson,  Poughkeepsie side, 61 Parker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. The Walk over the Hudson, which is a New York State Park, is the world’s longest footbridge. The race starts on the Poughkeepsie side and runs out and back.

Pre-register at active.com before April 1^st. The first 125 registrants will  receive a free Stay-Dry event T shirt. The early registration price is $20 and $25 on race day. Walking price is $10. Registrants will also be entered into a raffle for Yankee box seat tickets.

The race day schedule is as follows:

8:30 am  Registration

9:30 am  5K run/walk begins.

Refreshments before and after race. Awards.

Awards go to the top three male and female finishers in each of seven age groups. There will be a $50 prize for the first place overall male and female finisher.

Proceeds from the race will benefit the Panichi Family Center for Communications and Learning  through the Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital Network.
