First Annual Canaan Railroad Days Corn Hole Tournament
The First Annual Canaan Railroad Days Corn Hole Tournament will be held Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Great Falls Brewing Company, 1 Railroad Plaza, Canaan, CT 06018.
The event, which is organized by Mike Hogan, is part of the Canaan Railroad Days celebration.
This will be a double elimination competition with a maximum of about 25 two-person teams.
There will be a Kiddos Cornhole Korner for the youngsters.
The entry fee is $25 per team, but sign up quickly because openings are limited.
Cash and prizes to the winners and a set of custom-painted corn hole boards to the champs.

Markoe 9th Annual Racing to Save Lives 5K and 10K
The Markoe 9th Annual Racing to Save Lives 5K and 10K will be held Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Tymor Park, Union Vale, NY 12540.
This year’s event is named in honor of Andrea Markoe who passed away from brain cancer at age 44.
The races, which will run on trails within the five hundred acres of Tymor Park, also feature a Kids Run.
The course is made up of mixed terrain including a carriage path, road, single path trail and a grass field.

The entry fees:
5K and 10K adults $30
5K and 10K Students 21 years and under $25

8:00 -9:30 am Registration (at the large pavilion)
10:00 am Races begin
Awards after races.
Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall winners, male and female.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Roeliff Jensen Community Library Benefit Golf Tournament
The Roeliff Jensen Community Library Benefit Golf Tournament will be held Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Under Mountain Golf Course, 274 Under Mountain Road, Copake, NY 12516.
There will be both morning (8:00am registration)and afternoon (12:30 pm registration) flights for the 18-hole, two-person scramble.
The cost of the tournament is $80 person walking. The cost for Undermountain Golf Course members is $65 per person walking. Add $10 for cart.
The cost includes green fees, breakfast (for morning flight), lunch, BBQ dinner, complimentary beverages and awards. There will be on-course prizes .
