Roe Jan Ramble 7th Annual Bike Tour

The Roe Jan Ramble 7th Annual Bike Tour will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at Copake Memorial Park, 305 Mountain View Road, Copake, NY.

The event is sponsored by the towns of Copake, Hillsdale and Ancrum, NY.

This is a non-competitive bike ride. Cyclists can choose from six routes –  10, 18, 25, 35 and 50 and 62.5 miles. For a detailed description of each route visit roejanramble.org .

There is no entry fee for the non-competitive event, but participants are encouraged to either donate or solicit pledges. Proceeds from the tour will benefit the Harlem Valley Rail Trail Association’s efforts to complete the trail section from Copake Falls to Hillsdale.

All riders must wear helmets.

The event day schedule is as follows:

7:30 am  Registration

8:30 am  50 and 62.5 Mile Rides begin

9:30 am  35 Mile Ride begins

10:00 am  25 Mile Ride begins

10:30 am  18 Mile Ride begins

11:00 am 10 Mile Ride begins

Noon- 3:00 pm  Music and picnicking, either bring your own or there will be food for purchase.

4:30 pm  Ramble ends.

Falls Village Food and Truck Fest

The Falls Village Food and Truck Fest will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at the Falls Village Recreation Center, 108 Route 63, Falls Village, CT 06031. This event was previously known as the Falls Village Truck Pull.

Rain date is Sunday, 22nd.

The event features Craft Breweries and Wineries, Food Trucks, Truck Show, SPI Truck Pull, Live Band and Vendors.

The Truck Pull will feature four classes:

Enhanced Gas, 2.5

Limited Pro Stock Diesel

Super Stock Gas

Powder Puff (ladies only).

For participants the entry fee for the event is $35 for the first pull and $30 for each additional class. The fee includes the driver and a mechanic.

General admission to the truck pull is $10 per person, children 10 years old and under are free.

For spectator comfort, bring blankets or lawn chairs for hillside viewing.

The event day hours are Noon to 6:00 pm.

Cash payouts to winners

The Falls Village event is the last of the season, and series champions will be crowned.

Vendors and food available.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Falls Village Volunteer Fire Dept.
