The Barkhamsted Elementary School 5th Grade and PTO 11th Annual River Run 5K and Walk will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Barkhamsted Elementary School, 65 Ripley Road, Barkhamsted, CT 06063.

There is no rain date.

The race, which includes both a 5K and a non-competitive walk, is an out-and-back course running along the Farmington River and People’s State Forest. No animals, roller blades or bikes please.

Register online or find mail in form at barkhamstedschool.org/pto before April 15 for free T shirt.

The entry fees are:

5K (16 year olds and under) $15

5K (17 year olds and over) $25

Family cap of  $50

Register by April 15 for free 2019 river Race T shirt.

Race day schedule:

8:00 am Registration

9:30 am  Race begins

Awards and light refreshments after race

Medals to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age category, excluding walkers.

Proceeds from the race will benefit the Barkhamsted Elementary School 5th Grade class trip and other activities.
