The Litchfield Hills 43rd Annual Road Race  will be held Sunday June 9, 2019 on The Litchfield Green, Litchfield, CT 06759.

This is a world class 7.1 mile race where as many as 1300 runners will compete, along with hundreds of volunteers and thousands of spectators. The event will also host several youth races, a 2.3 competitive race for 11-13 year olds, a 1 mile race for ages 8-10 and 200 yard dashes for individual ages 4-8.

The town actually makes a weekend of it, offering many activities leading up to the main event.

The pre-registration fee for the race is $35, race day registration fee is $45. Pre-registration is available online or mail in. Pre-registrations (and payment) received by May 12th guarantees listing in program, pre-registration by May 17th guarantees a dated Tech T-shirt. After May 17th undated T shirts while supplies last. Online registration ends June 2nd.

Race Day Schedule:

9:00 am- 12:30 pm  Registration for 1 mile and 200 yard dashes (children’s registration tent)

9:00 – 11:30 am 2.3 mile race (children’s registration tent)

10:00 am – 12:30 pm Registration for The Race

12:00 noon  2.3 mile race

1:00 pm Cannon blast starts main race

1:05 pm  1 Mile non-competitive race ages 8-10

1:08 – 1:16 pm  Five 200 yard dashes for individual ages 4-8

2:45 pm (approx)  Awards ceremony
