Walk With Me in the Berkshires

Walk With Me in the Berkshires, a program of Berkshire Health Systems, will celebrate its 17th year when it goes live at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 24, 2020. That’s when registration opens for this innovative program.

This program is meant for people who either live or work in Berkshire County.

The purpose of Walk With Me is to promote a healthier lifestyle by walking. Teams of 2 to 20 members  will record and submit their movement totals over a six week period. Not only will they be able to see how far they have traveled, but they will also see how they compare to the other teams.

Registration is available only through iberkshires.com, and organizers expect all 2400 places to be filled within the first day!

There is no registration fee, each registrant will receive a free step counter and an online step recording program.

The program schedule is as follows:

March 24

10 am  Registration begins at https://www.iberkshires.com/

Packet pickup at Berkshire Medical Center, Bishop Clapp Building, 3rd Floor. Date TBT

Baseline walking week  Monday April 20th –  Sunday April 26th

During the next five weeks walk and then submit your step totals.

Walking Week 2 – Monday, April 27th to Sunday, May 3rd

Walking Week 3 – Monday, May 4th to Sunday, May 10th

Walking Week 4 – Monday, May 11th to Sunday, May 17th

Walking Week 5 – Monday, May 18th to Sunday, May 24th

Walking Week 6 – Monday, May 25th to Sunday, May 31st
