Thankful 5K
The Thankful 5K will take place on Saturday November 27th, 2021.
Race start time is 9:00 AM
Registration is free, but runners are asked to bring a non-perishable food item(s) to the start of the race or Berkshire Running Center anytime in the month of November.

Non perishable food items will be collected at BRC up until race day.
Course is a fast out and back, start and finish from Downtown Pittsfield. Stay and patronize the local businesses for Small Business Saturday.
Bib number and Beanie pick up will be at BRC on Friday November 26th from 10 AM-6 PM and race morning from 8 AM-8:45 AM
Firecracker 5K
The Firecracker 5K will be held Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Nessacus Middle School, Dalton, MA.
This is an in-person race!
Start: 8am

Jingle Bell Fun Run Canceled for 2020
The Jingle Bell Fun Run sponsored by the Berkshire Running Center has been canceled for 2020.
The event raises money for the Eagle Santa Toy Fund organized by The Berkshire Eagle.
Thankful 5K 5th Annual Run/Walk Virtual for 2020
The Thankful 5K 5th Annual Run/Walk will be run virtually in 2020 on Thursday, November 26th on a 5K course of your choosing.
The event is organized by the Berkshire Running Center. Here is what they have to say on their Facebook page:
“Join us for the fifth annual Thankful 5K fundraiser for the community. Each year we have hosted this event raising over $10,000 for several local agencies. This year 100 % of the proceeds will be donated to our local Pittsfield Food Pantries.
We have a limited number of Thankful hats available to the first registered.
The 5K can be done anytime on Thanksgiving on the official course or run, walk, ride, paddle , hike or anything you want, anywhere you want. All the while knowing that you are helping to feed a local family at the most challenging times of the year, in the most challenging times we have experienced.
Berkshire Running Center will be collecting non-perishable food items from November 1st- 26th to be delivered to the local pantries here in Pittsfield.

Berkshire Healthcare Harvest Run 5K Canceled for 2020
The Berkshire Healthcare Harvest Run 5K which was to be held Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, MA has been canceled for 2020.
The event was organized by the Berkshire Running Center.
Berkshire Fall Foliage 5K Race Series
The Berkshire Fall Foliage 5K Race Series will be held August 31 – October 25, 2020 to give runners the chance to participate in any or all of five races that had been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Berkshire Running Center has “virtualized” these races into a series.
Berkshire Running Center is thrilled to keep the hugely successful virtual race series ‘running’ through the fall with this exciting 8 week 5k race series. Join us for a weekly 5k (3.1 mile) run or walk through the beautiful Berkshires during the most spectacular time of the year.
Runners can choose to run any of the eight designated 5k race courses anytime over the eight week series, logging in once a week with your results.
Berkshire Running Center is thrilled to keep the hugely successful virtual race series ‘running’ through the fall with this exciting 8 week 5k race series beginning August 31st and ending on October 25th.
Results will be submitted each week by Sunday night at 9pm.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners and race division winners at the completion of the race series.
*Each week there will be a raffle for BRC gift cards for 5 participants.

The series also offers runners the option to run a 5k race of their own anywhere and on any surface or course.
The eight series race includes race submissions and an official Berkshire Fall Foliage 5k Series t-shirt for $50.

Growing Community Virtual 5K
Growing Community Virtual 5K will be held any time from June 21 – July 3, 2020.
This will be the first ever Growing Community Virtual 5K, the first of many events being planned to help strengthen community bonds in Pittsfield. Proceeds from the run will go to the ROPE (Rites of Passage and Empowerment) program and a scholarship fund for local students.
Complete the race between Father’s Day (June 21) and July 3. Begin your route at 1175 North Street and then choose your own course from there. Snap a picture from the parking lot and post it to social media with #runforpittsfield. Also, please share your time to Berkshire Running Center.
The cost is $25 and includes a Growing Community technical shirt and $5 coupon to BB’s food truck located in the 1175 North Street parking lot. Donations are also welcome.

Wellness Day 5K & 1 Mile Walk CANCELLED
The Wellness Day 5K & 1 Mile Walk will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020 at the Paterson Field House, Berkshire Community College, 1350 West Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
The event is presented by the BCC Physical Therapist Assistant Club.
Entry fee is $25 for both the 5K and 1 Mile walk- there is a 42 processing fee for online registrations. $30 day of race.
Race day entry fee $35.
Free Unisex long sleeve T shirt to all who register before April 23rd.

Jingle Bell 8th Annual Fun Run/Walk
The Jingle Bell 8th Annual Fun Run/Walk will be held Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 at the Berkshire Running Center, 34 Depot Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
The informal fun run/walk is hosted by the Berkshire Running Center.
The two-mile loop both begins and ends at the Berkshire Running Center.
Although the event is free, participants are asked to donate cash or toys to benefit the Eagle Santa Toy Fund.
There will be no timing or registration.

The Eagle Santa Fund, which is sponsored by the Berkshire Eagle, strives to raise about $45,000 a year to provide deserving children in Berkshire County with Christmas gifts.
Thankful 5K 3rd Annual Run/Walk
The Thankful 5K Run/Walk, 3rd Annual, will be held Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28,
2019 at the Berkshire Running Center, 34 Depot Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
The family-friendly race will consist of six laps of a roughly half mile loop. Timing will be provided by the Berkshire Running Center, but runners will be responsible for their own lap count.
Entry for the race is free but participants must pre-register online or get printout entry forms at berkshirerunningcenter.com. There will be no registration on race day.
For a donation of $20 or more, entrants will receive a Thankful Beanie winter hat. All participants are also asked to bring a non-perishable food item which will go to the St. Joseph’s Food Pantry.
Schedule:
Wednesday November 27th
10:00 am – 6:00 pm Bib number and Beanie pick up will be at Berkshire Running Center.
Thursday November 28th:
7:00-7:45 am Race number and beanie pickup. Remember, no race day registration!
8:00 am Race/Walk begins
