Connecticut Tour Des Farms

Connecticut Tour Des Farms

June 1 – October 1, 2021.

Sponsored by Connecticut Resource Conservation and Development Area.

This year, the tours are run more like a virtual event than a formal, guided one.

The program spans four months of bicycle-riding opportunity to visit Connecticut farms and farm stands, and experience our state’s agricultural offerings via eight different regional routes.

One route covers the Litchfield Hills.

Each route encompasses five to ten farms.

To register ($20) go to https://ctrcd.org/tourdesfarms/ where there is also extensive information about the role of the CT RC&D.

Registrants will receive “passports” that allow them to make note of each farm they visit and later register for great prizes.

Proceeds from the rides will help CT RC&D (which is a non-profit organization, not a government program) promote their agricultural and conservation programs in Connecticut.
