HYSB Spin-a- Thon
The HYSB Spin-a- Thon will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Studio Lakeville, Lakeville, CT 06039.
The event, which is a guided spin class, is hosted by Studio Lakeville. They have devoted 15 spin bikes for individuals or teams to raise funds for the Housatonic Youth Service Bureau.
The entry fee for the 90 minute event is $25 per person, but registrants are encouraged to seek sponsors to donate a minimum of 25 cents per minute.

Registration deadline is February 8th.

Proceeds from the Spin-a-Thon will help fund a $1000 scholarship for a 2019 graduate from Housatonic Valley Regional High School.
Applications for the scholarship are due March 25, 2019.

Bill Solan 11th Annual Ice Fishing Derby
The Bill Solan 11th Annual Ice- Fishing Derby will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at O’Hara’s Landing, Twin Lakes, Salisbury, CT.
The event is sponsored by the Northwest CT Rod and Gun Club.
The entry fee is $20 per person in advance and $25 day of the event.
All participants must have a valid fishing license.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Contestants are asked to bring their own bait, lunch and beverages.

7:00 am Sign up
8:00 am Derby begins
1:00 pm Derby ends
Prizes to the three biggest fish by weight. Cash prizes will equal 50% of the entry fees.
Door prizes and raffle after the Derby.
Proceeds from the Derby will help fund the Club’s land improvement program.
