First Annual North Canaan Santa Chase 5K
The First Annual North Canaan Santa Chase 5K will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at North Canaan Town Hall/ North Canaan Elementary School, 100 Pease Street, Canaan, CT 06018.
The event is sponsored by Great Falls Brewing Company.
Race day sign in starts at 10:00 am
The race begins at 11:00 am.
Entry fee $25 plus $2.45 sign up fee.

The course is a fairly flat out-and-back starting downtown at the school, run north on West Main to the state line, turn around and finish back at the school.
Mile marks, water at the finish, chip timing. Awards will be based on Gun finish time. 5K. USATF sanctioned race (pending). USATF certified 5K course COVID-19 protocols may be required (masks and social distancing).
Trophies for fastest racers in each category- Men, Women, Children.
Prizes for best holiday costumes.
Awards will be made available around noon at the Great Falls Brewing Company. Results will be posted on-line. Timing and results by www.greystoneracing.net
A portion of the race proceeds will go to Women’s Support Services https://www.wssdv.org/
There will be an after party at Great Falls Brewing Co., then stay for local shopping and restaurants.
North Canaan Mother’s Day 5K
The North Canaan Mother’s Day 5K will be held Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the North Canaan Town Hall/ N. Canaan Elementary School.
Registration ends May 6th at 11:59 pm.
Entry fee is $25 plus $2.45 sign up fee.

The Great Falls Brewing Company 5 Mile Road Race will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Great Falls Brewing Company, 1 railroad Plaza, Canaan, CT 06018.
11:00 AM –12:45 PM

There is NO RACE-DAY REGISTRATION.

Take a right on Sand Road, take a right on Boinay Hill Road, take a right onto route 44, head back into town and finish at the Great Falls Brewing Co parking lot. Water tables at 2-mile and 3.5 mile.

The course closes at 12:45pm and awards will be available for pick up at the Brewery. Snow date 10/25/20.

Great Falls Brewing Company 1st Annual 5 Mile Road Race will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Great Falls Brewing Company, 1 Railroad Street, Canaan, CT 06018.
The snow date is March 29th.
The race is organized by the Great Falls Brewing Company.
Timing is by Greystone Racing.
The course: The start is located on route 44 in front of the Great Falls Brewing Co in North Canaan, CT. Proceed clockwise, east and take a right heading south on route 7. First Annual Canaan Railroad Days Corn Hole Tournament
The First Annual Canaan Railroad Days Corn Hole Tournament will be held Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Great Falls Brewing Company, 1 Railroad Plaza, Canaan, CT 06018.
The event, which is organized by Mike Hogan, is part of the Canaan Railroad Days celebration.
This will be a double elimination competition with a maximum of about 25 two-person teams.
There will be a Kiddos Cornhole Korner for the youngsters.
The entry fee is $25 per team, but sign up quickly because openings are limited.
Cash and prizes to the winners and a set of custom-painted corn hole boards to the champs.
