For the 27 MILER: Strict limit of 7 HOURS in effect for the Marathon+ distance (6 big loops and 2 mini loops). Must finish before 7:00:00 hours elapsed.

BENEFICIARY: This year’s event will be benefitting the Louison House in North Adams, MA, which is the only homeless shelter and support organization serving northern Berkshire County. Last year we donated $1700. This year our goal is to double this!

LOCATION: Jug End State Reservation, 120 Jug End Road, Egremont, MA (If you type in Guilded Hollow Road, it seems you will have better luck finding the parking lot. There will be a sign at the end of the parking lot that connects out to Jug End Road though.)

COURSE DESCRIPTION: 4.2 mile course through woods, fields, apple orchard. Approximately 2.1 miles of uphill and 2.1 miles of downhill per lap. 830′ elevation change per lap. Follow the Jug End Loop Trail and includes upper loop.**UPDATED Route Description**: At 5:00:00, the route to the upper loop will be closed and there will be a .88 mile mini loop to use for the last 60 minutes. My hope is this will allow folks to get the necessary distance to hit milestones (1/2 marathon, marathon, 50k).

AID STATION: Aid Station will consist of portable tables. We will provide Water and Gatorade/Heed/TailWind or similar. If you have personal specifics, plan to bring it. We will have normal aid station faire: pretzels, corn chips, gummy bears, bananas, oranges, cookies, fig newtons.
You heard that correctly. We will NOT have cups for your drinks, ESPECIALLY after you finish. We strive to do everything we can to limit our impact. Please simply use your water-bottle, or bring a light-weight, collapsible cup with you. It takes just a little more planning on your part, and means we won’t have pre-poured soda and drinks, but it will mean our impact on Mother Nature is significantly less than it could be.

BE PREPARED FOR THIS! WE ARE SERIOUS! THERE WILL BE NO CUPS, EVEN AFTER YOU FINISH (There is a pretty sweet finisher award you can use for beverages of your choosing after you finish though!)
