The Sweltering Summer 8 Hour and 5K will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Clapp Park, 215 West Housatonic Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
The race, which is organized by the Berkshire Ultra Runners Community for Service, will be run on a dirt and cinder track.

Hand-made medal, t-shirt, mug, and sticker to all participants. Overall top 3 male and female in each event. 10 year age groups recognized and top relay team. Individual mileage awards and other swag will be handed out at the conclusion of the 8-Hour event for lifetime mileage.
Proceeds from the race will benefit Moments House, a warm home-like daytime facility for all Berkshire County residents living with a cancer diagnosis as well as their families and support systems. The Earth Angels Fight Against Cancer Golf Tournament will be held Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Egremont Country Club, 685 S. Egremont Road, Great Barrington, MA 01230 .
The event is a four-person scramble for both men and women. The cost is $125 per person which includes green fees, cart, lunch, refreshments, prizes, dinner and a golf shirt as a tournament souvenir.

The tournament will also include on-course prizes including a hole-in-one opportunity on every par three hole.
