Thankful 5K 3rd Annual Run/Walk
The Thankful 5K Run/Walk, 3rd Annual, will be held Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28,
2019 at the Berkshire Running Center, 34 Depot Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
The family-friendly race will consist of six laps of a roughly half mile loop. Timing will be provided by the Berkshire Running Center, but runners will be responsible for their own lap count.
Entry for the race is free but participants must pre-register online or get printout entry forms at berkshirerunningcenter.com. There will be no registration on race day.
For a donation of $20 or more, entrants will receive a Thankful Beanie winter hat. All participants are also asked to bring a non-perishable food item which will go to the St. Joseph’s Food Pantry.
Schedule:
Wednesday November 27th
10:00 am – 6:00 pm Bib number and Beanie pick up will be at Berkshire Running Center.
Thursday November 28th:
7:00-7:45 am Race number and beanie pickup. Remember, no race day registration!
8:00 am Race/Walk begins

Proceeds from the donations and beanie sales will benefit St Joseph’s Food Pantry.

Goshen Turkey Trot 10K Road Race
The Goshen Turkey Trot 10K Road Race will be held Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019 at the Goshen Fairgrounds, Route 63, Goshen, CT. There is plenty of parking at the Goshen Fairgrounds.
The race, which is sponsored by the Goshen Running Club, will celebrate its 42nd year. This is a rain or shine event. Walkers are welcome. This is a hilly course with a combination of dirt roads and Goshen Running ClubGasphalt.
The entry fee is $30 per person pre- registered by November 14th, and $35 after November 14th and on race day.
Pre-registration is advised to get a T shirt.

Awards, apple cider, donuts and bonfire after race.
Awards include the Laschever Memorial trophy to the first male and female finisher; awards to the Gtop three overall male and female finishers; turkeys to the first Goshen resident finishers male and female and ribbons, pies and gift certificates to the first three finishers in each of nine age divisions.

Ferncliff Forest 5K Turkey Trot
The Ferncliff Forest 5K Turkey Trot will be held Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019 at the Baptist Church, Montgomery Street, Rhinebeck, NY 12572.
The race, which is sponsored by Ferncliff Forest, is a run/walk event.
Walkers, strollers and well behaved dogs welcome.

The age-related, early registration entry fees are as follows: Adults $25; age 11-17 $20; age 10 and under $10. Note: there is an additional signup fee of $2.50.
After Nov. 18th the fee increases to $35 for adults, children and senior fees remain the same.

8:50 am Awards and light refreshments (bananas, bagels, drinks) .
Awards will go to the top three overall finishers, male and female; top three male and female finishers in nine age groups and prize for best Thanksgiving-themed costume.
