Hand in Hand 5K Run/Walk
The Hand in Hand 5K Run/Walk will be held Sunday, April 7, 2019 on Walkway over the Hudson, Poughkeepsie side, 61 Parker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. The Walk over the Hudson, which is a New York State Park, is the world’s longest footbridge. The race starts on the Poughkeepsie side and runs out and back.
Pre-register at active.com before April 1st. The first 125 registrants will receive a free Stay-Dry event T shirt. The early registration price is $20 and $25 on race day. Walking price is $10. Registrants will also be entered into a raffle for Yankee box seat tickets.
The race day schedule is as follows:
8:30 am Registration
9:30 am 5K run/walk begins.
Refreshments before and after race. Awards.
Awards go to the top three male and female finishers in each of seven age groups. There will be a $50 prize for the first place overall male and female finisher.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Panichi Family Center for Communications and Learning through the Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital Network.

Under The Roof VII Volleyball Tournament
The Under The Roof VII Volleyball Tournament will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2018 at the Mid-Hudson Athletic Center (MAC), 900 Dutchess Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
The Under The Roof Tournament is sponsored by Rooftime , which also sponsors an outdoor tournament every June.
This is a reverse co-ed (three men and three women) event with a maximum of 15 teams. The entry fee is $180 per team.
There will be three divisions: AA ; A/BB and Recreational.
There will be a maximum of 15 teams.
The tournament begins at 9:00 am. (Check to verify start time)

The Think Differently. Dash, 3rd Annual will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 22 Market Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
This event, which is a collaboration between First Friday Poughkeepsie, Dutchess Tourism, and Think Differently, includes a 1/2 mile dash and a 1 mile Run/walk.

Pre-registration $5 until Sept. 4th
$10 on Race Day

25 Years of Hope Fun Run/Walk
The 25 Years of Hope Fun Run/Walk will take place Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Vassar College Campus, 124 Raymond Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12604.
This is a family-friendly event which is run within the confines of the Vassar Campus and integrating activities such as a scavenger hunt along the way. To register, visityouthmissionoutreach.org or call (845) 473-5449. Pre-registration ends 8/8/18.
