The Run for Education 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

The Run for Education 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Oakwood Friends School, 22 Spackenkill Road, Poughkeepsie, NY  12603.

The timed event, which is hosted by the Oakwood Friends School, will be run on the school’s cross-country course.

Pre-register online at runsignup.com . Registration ends at 11:59 pm, May 4th.

Here are the entry fee prices:

5K   pre-registration $20, after, race day $25.

1 Mile Fun Run pre-registration $10,

Race day schedule:

7:30 – 8:15 am  Registration and packet pickup ( gym parking lot)

8:30 am   5K begins

9:15 am   1Mile Fun Run/Walk begins

Awards and   after race.

Awards to top male and female finishers in seven age categories as well as five Fun Run age categories.

Proceeds from the race will benefit the United Nations Association’s Adopt – A – Future program.

The Fleet Feet Fun Run Kids 1 Mile, 5K and 10K Run/Walk

The Fleet Feet Fun Run Kids 1 Mile, 5K and 10K Run/Walk will be held Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Fleet Feet Sports, 1895 South Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Fleet Feet Sports is the event sponsor.

Register online at Eventbrite.com until April 5th or register race day morning for a higher fee.

The entry fee schedule is as follows:

1 Mile Fun Run for ages up to 10, online  $8.00 plus $2.50 registration fee, race day $12.

5K and 10K online $20 plus $3.16 registration fee, race day $25.

Race day schedule is as follows:

7:30 – 8:30  am Registration and race day signup

9:00 am  1 Mile Kids Fun Run

9:30  am 5K and 10K Run/Walk begin

Awards and raffle after the races.

Awards to top three overall finishers, male and female. All kids receive ribbons.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Angels of Light whose mission is “to provide holiday giving for children and families with life threatening illnesses in the Hudson Valley.”
