Now here is a fundraiser that is both fun and different. The Hoops For Hannah March Madness bracket challenge combines your love (obsession?) with the NCAA Basketball tournament with supporting a very worthy cause.
Hoops for Hannah is held in honor of Hannah Taylor, an avid basketball fan, who lost her life to brain cancer in 2012 at age 32. Her family started Hoops For Hannah to honor her life, reflect her love of college basketball and support research for brain cancer. They put up a $1,000 prize to the highest scorer in the Hoops For Hannah NCAA basketball bracket.
Here’s how you play:
Email firstname.lastname@example.org indicating that you wish to play.
On Sunday March 11th, after the teams have been selected, you will receive an invitation and a link that will take you directly to the Hoops For Hannah tournament page on cbssports.com where you can fill out your bracket.
You will have until noon, Thursday, March 15 to complete your bracket.
There is no entry fee to play, but participants are encouraged to make a donation.
