Northwest CT Rod and Gun Club Fourth Turkey Shoot 2020

The Northwest CT Rod and Gun Club Turkey Shoot will be held Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020 at the Northwest CT Rod and Gun Club, 148 South Canaan Rd (Route 7), Canaan, CT 06018. No folks, we're not shootin turkeys here. We are shooting at paper targets where the best marksmen and women can win turkeys and other prizes. Haul for McCall Race

The Haul for McCall Race will be held Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Foothills BMX, Alvord Park Road, Torrington, CT 06790. This is a rescheduled event from Aug. 16th. Entry fee is $10 Registration 10:00 am -11:30 am or by phone (860) 626-1269. Practice 10:00 am – 11:40 am (approx) Racing begins at Noon. Hotchkiss School 26th Annual Swimathon Pandemic Version

The 26th Annual Hotchkiss School Swimathon should have been held on November 1st at the Hixon Pool on the Hotchkiss school campus, but the COVID-19 pandemic changed all of that. Last year a record 247 swimmers participated to raise $16,000 for Special Olympics Connecticut and the Northwest CT Special Olympics Swim Team, but no such gathering would take place this year.
