Jimmy’s Ride 2019
Jimmy’s Ride 2019 will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 starting at Berkshire County Kids’ Place, 63 Wendell Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
The 24th annual motorcycle ride begins at Kid’s Place and ends at Camp Russel, 341 Boys Club Rd., Richmond, MA.
The entry fee for the Ride is $25 per person. Non-riders are welcome to the post- Ride celebration at Camp Russel in Richmond, MA. for $5 per person and $20 per family.

Following the Ride enjoy Jimmy’s After Party at Camp Russel including food, music and fun activities.
The ride honors Jimmy Bernardo who was kidnapped and killed 23 years ago.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Jimmy’s Ride Fund which in turn benefits Berkshire County Kids’ Place in their efforts to help young victims of sexual and domestic violence.
Past events have raised as much as $20,000.

Sweltering Summer 8 Hour and 5K
The Sweltering Summer 8 Hour and 5K will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Clapp Park, 215 West Housatonic Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
The race, which is organized by the Berkshire Ultra Runners Community for Service, will be run on a dirt and cinder track.

7:00 am 8 hour and Virtual 1 hour races

Awards after race.
Hand-made medal, t-shirt, mug, and sticker to all participants. Overall top 3 male and female in each event. 10 year age groups recognized and top relay team. Individual mileage awards and other swag will be handed out at the conclusion of the 8-Hour event for lifetime mileage.
Proceeds from the race will benefit Moments House, a warm home-like daytime facility for all Berkshire County residents living with a cancer diagnosis as well as their families and support systems. Ice Bucket Open
The Ice Bucket Open, 4th Annual will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Canaan Country Club, 74 High Street, Canaan, CT 06018.
The 18 hole, four-person scramble format event will be run in two flights.
The cost is $115 per person which includes green fees, continental breakfast, cart, lunch, on-course contests, prizes and awards. There will also be a raffle.
Only advance registrations will be accepted, by August 2nd- no exceptions. Last year, the morning flight filled up early and the entire tournament sold out well before tournament day.
