Hopkins Vineyard Triathlon
The Hopkins Vineyard Triathlon at Lake Waramaug will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Hopkins Vineyard, 25 Hopkins Rd., New Preston, CT 06777.
The event which features a .5 mile swim, 10 mile bike and 3.1 mile run is open to both individuals and relay teams.

Lake Waramaug 35th Annual Polar Bear Run
The Lake Waramaug 35th Annual Polar Bear Run will be held Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Lake Waramaug Country Club Tennis House, Golf Links Road, New Preston, CT 06777.
The snow date is March 3rd 11:00 am.
The race, which is presented by TrailHeads, is a 7.6 mile run around Lake Waramaug, passing through the towns of Washington, Warren and Kent. The route is characterized as mostly flat with “some gently rolling hills”.
Pre-register online or download entry form at lakewaramaugpolarbearrun.com though Feb. 22nd.
TrailHeads commemorative multi Bands to the first 300 registrants.
There is a limit of 500 entrants.
Chip timing by Fast Track Timing.
Parking is limited so consider car pooling.

Pre-registration $27 plus $2.34 Everbrite charge.
Race day $30 plus $2.49 charge.

Awards to top three in each of eight age categories.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Guiding Eyes for the Blind, which provides guide dogs to people with vision loss.
