Law Enforcement Torch Run’s 6th Annual Holiday Sweater Fun Run 5K

The Law Enforcement Torch Run’s 6th Annual Holiday Sweater Fun Run 5K will be held Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Moe’s Tavern, 10 Railroad Street, Lee, MA 01238.

The event is organized by the Law Enforcement Torch Run with the Lee Police Dept. and Special Olympics MA.

Ugly Christmas sweaters and holiday costumes are encouraged.

The entry fee for the run/walk is $25 per person online until Nov. 9th. Race day entry fee is $30.

Entrants are also encouraged to do additional fundraising.

The first 100 registrants get an official 2019 T shirt.

The event fundraising goal is $10,000.

8:30 – 9:45 am Check in

10:00 am Run/Walk begins

11:00 am Awards

Celebration at Moe’s Tavern after awards

Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.

Proceeds from the Run will benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts.

Glenholme School 6th Annual 5K Run for Autism

The Glenholme School 6th Annual 5K Run for Autism will be held Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Steep Rock Preserve, 2 Tunnel Road, Washington Depot, CT 06794.

All runners, walkers and canine companions are welcome. This is a flat, out-and-back course, run entirely on gravel roads.

Entry fee is $20 plus $2.85 service fee until November 1st, $25 on race day.

Dogs are $10 plus $2.24 service fee until November 1st.

Prizes awarded to top three over male and female finishers as well as winners in eight age categories.

Proceeds from the race will “provide therapeutic programs and an exceptional learning environment to children whose families would otherwise not be able to afford the services that  Glenholme provides.

The Glenholme School is a therapeutic boarding school that offers social, emotional and academic supports for students ages 10 to 21.
